Sympagic meiofauna and ice algae taxonomy/abundance

Abstract

Samples collected to investigate the sympagic community in the Barents Sea. Three cores per sampling station of which two are preserved in 2 % formalin and one is preserved in 96 % ethanol. Formalin samples for counting the abundance and ethanol for molecular work. The following sections are collected - 0-3,3-10,10-20,20-30 cm.
