As part of the Bridging the Fram Strait initiative, SIOS is collaborating with the Greenland Integrated Observing System (GIOS) to share information about research infrastructures in Svalbard and Greenland.
While the focus of the SIOS Observation Facility Catalogue continues to be on observation facilities in the Svalbard region, we recognise that many scientists work across the gradient between Svalbard and Greenland. We have therefore updated the catalogue to include observation facilities harvested from ISAAFFIK - the arctic gateway. This means that you can now use the catalogue to learn about observation facilities in Svalbard, Greenland, or both locations!
Meanwhile, GIOS has harvested the SIOS Observation Facility catalogue to include observation facilities in Svalbard in ISAAFFIK - the arctic gateway.
We are delighted to present this advance in Bridging the Fram Strait, and we hope it facilitates yet closer interactions between those working in Svalbard and Greenland!
