My name is Maren Christine Hansen and I am currently enrolled in my third year of a bachelor in biology at the University of Bergen. This semester I’m happy to be a part of the SIOS-KC team as an internship student. During the bachelor I have been part of lab and field work and writing reports, so this semester I’m looking forward to get some experience working with other fields within biology like managing data and remote sensing, and learning how a future job for me might look like.
During these months I’m also looking forward to learn more about all the different aspects of SIOS. I will be looking at potential work tasks with my supervisor Christiane Hübner, and I have already started looking at social media and will be contributing to the planning of a digital event. I also hope to learn more about gathering and managing data, and maybe be able to cooperate with fellow SIOS members outside the Knowledge Centre.
