Congratulations to our Remote Sensing Working Group member from University of Oslo, Prof. Andreas Kääb for recently receiving the prestigious Louis Agassiz Medal-2019 at the European Geosciences Union (EGU), Austria.
He received the medal for his innovative and multidisciplinary contributions to the field of remote sensing of the cryosphere, with applications in glacier mass balance, permafrost and geohazards. SIOS congratulates Andreas for his recent achievement.
